The beginning of the bike route is the visitor information center of the Pirin National Park in the town of Pirin. Bansko. The bike path initially follows the asphalt road Bansko-h. Vihren. After about 1 km, the path turns to the left. Passing through the serpenines of Rolbana and the path goes to the holiday house of the Council of Ministers. From now on, a dirt forest road is followed, known after the local ones as the "White Roads" and a path that descends to the St. Nicholas locality.

(If you are new to mountain wheeling, we recommend driving to the fork for the path to the St. Nicholas area.) The bike trail is also quite popular among tourists who like to walk along the relatively sloping "White Roads".

If you want to extend your walk in the mountains, you can stop by the archaeological complex "St. Nicholas". The complex includes a fortress, where active life between the 3rd and 17th centuries was boiling. and an early Christian church of the basic type with its adjacent necropolis. The discovered walls have been restored, preserved and exhibited in their natural environment.
Of m. St. Nicholas to Fr. Bansko The bike path follows various dirt roads leading again to the Visitation Center.

If you love adrenaline and are a well-prepared cyclist, you can try out some of the more extreme bike races. The bear / Bears pines, plumbing / Water chute and Tegata / Tegata are our suggestions.

To follow them, you have to take the Dead Dog cycle route. When you reach the white roads, look for turn-offs on the left. First on the route is the route Bear/Bears pines, follows the Water chute and finally is Tegata. The terrain is difficult, and the passage through the routes is only a descent on a path among the trees.
