"To Bashliytsa" – the area of Bashliytsa

The trail is located along the valley of the Bashliytsa River - a catchment of several rivers – Atmegdanska, Srcaliytsa, Begovitsa, Mozgovica, Chairska and others. Its beginning starts from Yane Sandanski hut (above the town of Sandanski) and continues to the tourist shelter Spano pole, /about 2.30 hours/.

Through information boards is presented the rich biodiversity preserved on the territory of Pirin National Park – the most common tree species, Pirin endemics, wild animals, as well as the connection between the mountain and people – a story about the historical area "Arnaut cemetery". On the Spano Pole shelter, with a sun of ray routes to nearby sites, the tourist can choose a direction for a short walk.
