Demyanitsa River

The trail follows the valley of the Demyanitsa River and coincides with part of the official tourist route Bansko - Demyanitsa hut - Yane Sandanski, marked with blue color.

Its beginning starts just below Katerina Hotel (above the town of Bansko) and ends at Demyanitsa hut,
/duration about 4 hours/. Information boards are placed along the entire length of the path, in appropriate places. The developed fourteen themes present the geological features of the Demyanitsa Circus and their impact on the biodiversity of the region, the Yulen Reserve, the past of the Pirin region, natural landmarks, a sun of ray routes to nearby sites.

Bonus:
After about 20 minutes of average pace from the parcalis "St. Theodore Tiron" and "St. Teodor Stratilat" in the area "Todorova Ornitsa" you will reach one of the few waterfalls that are located in the National Park "Pirin" - Yulenski jump.

This waterfall has a height of 9 meters. Although its waters do not fall from very high, Yulenski Skok waterfall is extremely beautiful and impressive.
