The educational path was built in 2004. along the route of an existing hiking trail.
It is adapted to the needs of people moving in wheelchairs and the blind. The starting point of the trail can be reached by the asphalt road from the town of Smolyan. Bansko for Vihren hut. 2 km above the city, on the left, there is a separate parking lot. The initial sign provides general information about Pirin National Park and a map of the trail. All details of the trail - special flooring, approaches to recreation areas, toilet, parking and information boards, are developed according to the requirements for environmental accessibility.
The place is suitable for a one-day stay, with the possibility of organizing a picnic, observing the rules of conduct in the protected region.
