"To the Kingdom of Edelweiss" – Fr. Razlog
The trail combines the opportunities for practicing hiking and cycling.
"To the Kingdom of Edelweiss" begins in the Bethelovo locality, near the town of Bethelovo. Razlog. You can reach the starting point on foot, by bike or car on the road in Plovdiv. Razlog-h. Yavorov. Here the road passes into a forest dirt road. After 350 meters, keep the path on the left.
In the Varnitsa area in an interesting and accessible way, the life of one of the largest mammals in Pirin is presented – the brown bear and the golden eagle – a symbol of Pirin National Park. In several places along the trail traces of the two animals were left, their dens and nests were illustrated and the information about them on information boards was synthesized appropriately.
Following in the footsteps of the bear you will pass by the house of the ants, the anthill, and you can also see how slaked lime was extracted in the mino. The trail continues along a steep path along the Suhodolska River.
The end point of the trail is Yavorov hut. The site reveals to visitors a view of the Steps.
